Find position of pixel on sphere given position of pixel on texture
Textures are shaped like squares, but Unity puts them on the sphere. If you know the position of a pixel on the texture, how can you find the position of that pixel on the sphere with that texture?
I'm looking for the same answer, please tell me if you got something ?
