Why is the grid missing from scene view in Unity 4.0?

You can toggle the grid on and off by pressing the landscape icon on the top of the Scene View.
Thanks dookie-boy; When I toggled that icon, I was just seeing a single line dividing the scene, and did not realize that it was actually the edge of the grid at eye level. When I moved to a different perspective with the mouse, it was there. I appreciate the help. :) Thanks again

$$anonymous$$ark dookie-boy's answer as correct, also use comments to reply, not another answer.
Thanks Landern. I'm new to the forums and did not realize. When you say mark as correct, Do you mean the thumbs up? It says I "don't have permission for this action", even though I am logged in.
