How to add character and move it with joystick

Hello, so the thing i want to know is quite simple. I want to add character in my 2D game, totally new and then move ot left or right with joystick. Doing this for Android platform. Can someone helps me with that? Please show me where to find how to do that.. I would really want to have that kind of game:s Thanks, you are the best :)
