Debug unity plugin
Is there a way to debug a unity plugin on a mac? I mean the native part and mainly using the play mode instead of building an app.
You mean you have a native code plugin on your mac (standalone) and want to debug the plugin while running in the editor?
Well, for that you most likely need a debugger for mac applications. $$anonymous$$ost IDEs which are able to build such plugins should have a debugger. I don't have a mac so i can't say anything specific. Usually you have to attach the debugger to the application (the editor in this case) or start the editor with the debugger. $$anonymous$$aybe a mac user can tell you more.
I mean for debugging a .bundle, if I could retrieve some log messages, or if it is possible to debug the native part running on unity play mode.
Uhm as i said i'm not familiar with mac. I haven't heard about bundles until now. I guess you have your build bundle inside the plugins folder of Unity? $$anonymous$$y best bet would be to use xcode as debugger, however i have no idea how to attach it to the editor.
Just to be sure: You have Unity pro, right? Plugins are a pro / mobile feature, so any platform besides mobile needs Unity pro.
