Dedicated Server crashes when client calls Network.Disconnect
I have no idea how to debug this further, but sometimes when the client calls Network.Disconnect after recently changing maps, it will immediately crash the dedicated server. No error messages, no error logs, and will crash the editor if it is the server, or stand alone builds for both Linux and Windows.
It seems like after the client has been connected for some time and calls Network.Disconnect() it does not crash, but I cannot seem to resolve the issue in any way.
Has anyone had a similar issue? Its really upsetting my players since servers will randomly shut down when a player decides to quit a match after joining.
I'm currently facing the same problem, dedicated server crashing everytime a player leaves. It's not constant, sometimes it happens, others doesn't.
What I've noticed is that there are lower odds of crashing if the player stops for a while before disconnecting.
$$anonymous$$aybe it's crashing due to RPC's still being sent or Synchonization being done with someone that doesn't exist anymore.
I have the same problem too, the server crashes randomly when a player disconnects... even the debugger can't find exactly what is causing the issue, only showing something like "ntdll.dll break point" but this can come from many things so i'm simply stuck... If someone have solved this problem, please, tell me what you did to fix it even if it was a specific thing in your code that seems to have absolutely no sense x)... It s better than nothing.
