Maya Export not showing in Unity
Can anyone find out the reason why im having trouble exporting this maya plane model into my unity project?
Here is the file, try and import it yourself.

What's the poly count of the plane when you import it? Too high of a poly count will cause the object to "disappear" when you put it in the scene.
If the poly count is too high, you will either have to reduce the poly count in $$anonymous$$aya (I don't know how here...) or in Sculptris (a free program which has a polygon reducing brush!).

Export to .fbx format, then copy it into your Unity project. If you haven't got fbx exporter in your maya you can download it from Autodesk site.
thing is when i export 3d models, it appears in unity. The plane model appears in the assets but not in the scene view.
