Why won't unity remote 4 work for me?
Whatever i try, i can't get unity remote 4 to connect with my laptop and samsung galaxy s4. Whenever i connect my phone to the laptop, restart unity and the remote app and press play i get this still image where it says i should connect a device.
A list of everything I've done so far:
Installed latest JDK and checked it was for 64 bits
Installed latest Android SDK and checked it was for 64 bits
I copied zipalign from build-tools to tools.
Installed Google USB Drivers and updated the driver for Nexus 5
The device is detected on the system (but not on Unity)
Installed everything needed on Android SDK Manager
Restarted ADB server via CMD and made sure my device was there
Allowed Mock Location, USB Debugging & Camera (PTP)
Edit -> Project Settings -> Editor -> Any Android Devices
Edit -> Preferences -> External Tools -> Chose the right folder
When i open cmd.exe in the platform-tools folder in the android sdk and typed in adb devices. It lists my device there.
Also i have a second question, whenever i try to make an android build i get this error and it won't let me build: Exception: Build failed: Error building Player: DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "build/UnityRemoteNG-Android.apk". Builder.BuildAndroid () (at Assets/Editor/Builder.cs:30)
I got everything installed in their default locations.
Also i made sure that everything is 64 bit and i updated the driver for my galaxy s4 not Nexus 5, my bad.
