Poor image quality on Android through Unity Remote
I have started to work on the company's latest project using Unity3D and the workflow is just awesome.
The problem is when running the game on a real Android device (using Unity Remote) the image quality is very poor in comparison to how it looks in the editor:
![How it looks.](http://i.stack.imgur.com/OTRo5.jpg) (Click for a full view. Look at those sprite edges.)
Is this...
caused by the phone's limited graphics capabilities
or have I configured the project improperly
or is it Unity Remote and actually building it for Android will fix the quality?
please set texture type as" GUI " then after you will check .
Just go in project settings > editor, and change the jpeg to png and downsizing to normal

Unity Remote is not representative of graphics on the device. It works by streaming screenshots from the editor to the device. In order to do so efficiently the screenshots are highly compressed. It is not representative of graphics in a device build. The remote is intended to test device input such as touch events and accelerometer.

okay, great thank you ! is there anyway to test the game on a real device using Unity3D Free ? (have not yet bought the license)
The add-on is necessary to build for the device. Try getting a trial if you're desperate.
"desperate" haha I like this word :D, thanks a bunch mate
unity 5 does support the "unity remote 4" app on adroid
