Keyboard triggered animation not showing on IOS device
I have built a simple IOS app that triggers animations depending on the keyboard buttons being pressed at every moment (made the trigger script within update so that every frame is checking for the users input). I used a script for each button with a loop of: if the key is down trigger animation forward and else key is up trigger animation backwards.
When running the app through Unity everything works. Also when I build for Windows/Mac and run the executable everything works.
The problem happens when I build for IOS. Then open the Xcode Project on my Mac and build. Run the app on my Ipad Mini. Then connect my "EXTERNAL" Lightning Connector (wired) keyboard to my Ipad Mini to initiate the keyboard triggered animations, nothing happens.
I can't find anything anywhere on the forums, blogs, posts, etc. to solve this riddle of mine. Is there something extra I need to do to have an "EXTERNAL" Lightning Connector (wired) keyboard attached to an Ipad Mini work with my app?
