Convert WebGL to WebPlayer
Hi! I have a Project only working in Unity2017. Also with packages Import of the Project it will just not work. So when I want to Export a WebVersion, the only Option i have is WebGL. But for my Homepage I can only use WebPlayer Exports, since I basicly only Need the .unity3d file from it. Does anyone know how I could get or convert or whatever to get that .unity3d file of my game?
Any help would really just make my day!
Thanks a lot guys!
Antonia
Some explanation for Eric's answer: Unity stopped supporting webplayer builds around the release of Unity 5, because Google decided that they won't allow the NPAPI to run in Chrome anymore (supposedly because of security issues), and most other browsers followed this decision. This means that even if you did create a webplayer version, your users would not be able to run it (unless they install a very old Chrome or FIrefox version).

It's not possible. The only way to do a webplayer build is to use an old version of Unity. Keep in mind that hardly anybody will even be able to use a webplayer these days anyway, so there's no real point even if it was possible. If it's actually true that you can't use WebGL on your site for some reason, then it's time to change your web hosting.
