Connecting the wii remote to the free version of Unity

I want to use the nunchuk attachment for a wii remote to control my character in my game (as I need a one handed control method) so I've been looking into methods for connecting a wii remote to Unity.

I've found a few methods, but none are suitable. UniWii is a plugin, and so won't work with my copy of Unity. I found a tutorial for using WiiFlash to get the wii remote data and send it to Unity, but unfortunately it requires your Unity game build to be a web based game, whereas I want to build mine as a PC and Mac Standalone file (if I can ever get the damn thing to build).

I've heard of something called OSCumote, but it seems it's rather unreliable and is mac only, whereas I'm using a PC to develop my game.

Is there any other alternatives? The nunchuk really is the ideal option for my control scheme.

You could contact their Sales Team and request a Wii license...

Well, I think that they might give you a copy if you explain your situation to them
