Would Xcode work properly with unity if i got the apple developer account ?

i keep getting errors while trying to build unity games for the iOS and i keep getting errors. even for basic games, and i read the unity documentation, and it says the unity ois

i was wondering if this is true, i am just trying to use the simulator not the idevice
