Huge black rectangles when baking lightmap
Hi!
I've been migrating my project from Unity 4 to Unity 5 and the one thing I can't get right is the baking of lightmaps.
Whenever I bake a lightmap there are always huge black rectangles (http://imgur.com/Eb1lCy8) and I can't find a way to bake the scene correctly without them appearing. I have tried several different lighting configurations, but nothing seems to help.
Have you had this problem before? Do you know how I might be able to solve it?
Thank you in advance!
Did you know how to solve this?
Also i'm having baking issues aswell, do you know a fix? http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/1266355/artifacts-at-seams-when-baking-lightmaps.html
shit :/ this was a year ago hum... I am not sure anymore but I think it was related to the size of terrain / resolution of textures? But this is a bit of a point blank shot... can't remember for sure anymore, and it was with Unity 4 at the time. Best of luck!
I fixed most of the issues by increasing the resolution in baked GI settings. still weird artefacts and stuff.
anyways thanks for the reply!
