A fan's review of Episode 9(both versions):

I enjoyed the game version relatively fine. I liked the combat, which reminded me heavily on FFVII Remake or Kingdom Hearts. The strategical things you can to are fun, and took me a bit to defeat Seelkadoom on Hard. My only real issue was with the framerate at times. As for the movie, it's so damn good. The animation here is so fluid, and the voice acting surprisingly decent. Raynor Foxhound has come a long way voicing Seelkadoom that he just gives a menacing performance. Seelkadoom, while not very compelling, serves as an imposing threat to our heroes. Also, that Hyper Sonic scene is just hype. Sonic with human fingers is weird tho.

This game was my childhood and I can't believe a finale is finally coming, super hyped for it to come out on CHRISTMAS DAY! this whole series was a blast, excited to see what other projects you guys might do.
