Virtua Fighter 5 on Playstation 3 tehtud võitlusmäng, mis on järg Virtua Fighter 4-le. Väga reaalne ja põnev mäng haarab sind kaasa esimesest hetkest peale.

Tehnilise poole pealt uuendati mängu, võrreldes eelmistega, nii gameplay-s kui ka kaamera liikumises. Sinu kasutada on nüüd 3-D kaamera ja palju reaalsem ja virtuaalsem, kui enne.

Mängus on ka uuendatud edetabeli kohtade süsteem :
nüüd saad areneda 10. Kyu-st 1. Kyu-ks;
1. Dan-ist 10. Dan-ini.

Lugu :
On toimumas 5-s Maailma Võitlus Turniir, kuhu on kutsutud ainult 17 maailma kõige paremat võitlejat. Nad peavad õppima oma vigadest ja saama üheks oma võimete, keha ja hingega, et võita. Ei ole kohta ega aega kaotuseks ja vigadeks. Aga vähe teavad osalejad sellest, et J6 - selle turniiri korraldaja - on loonud ülitugeva võilemismasina nimega Dural, millega ta tahab vallutada maailma. Unlock Dural
To unlock Dural for use in VS and Arcade mode, simply beat arcade mode with every character at least once. You do not have to beat Dural.

Custom Characters in Movie Theater
In the VFTV Movie Theatre, hold left on the d-pad when pressing [X] to select the Wolf-El Blaze or Eileen demo movies. The movies will now feature your customized versions of those characters.

Unlock the DOJO training stages
To unlock the DOJO training stages you need to complete the TIME ATTACK mode mode that is in command training one time with any character. When you complete time attack, go into VS mode, select your characters, and then press the controller either up two times or down two times. If you go up you will get the DOJO without a fence. If you go down you will get the DOJO with a fence.

Unlocking Costumes C and D
For any character, reaching the rank of 1st Dan in Quest mode will earn you Costume C. By completing any character's first orb disc, you will earn that character's costume D.

Costume C: Reach the rank of 1st Dan
Costume D: Complete the first orb disc

Hear the "SEEEGA" theme
Hold the [O] button while the game is loading up. When the screen switches to the "SEGA" logo, you'll hear the tune, "SEEEGA" from the old Genesis console.

Play Route B in arcade mode
At the character select screen in arcade mode. When you have the option to select Yes/No, press and hold [G] or [P] button until the match start. You will then be playing against other fighters in a different order.

Select VF.TV->Exhibition Match->At the character select screeen press and hold [L1]+[R1] then hit [X].
