Percentage to Decimal
What is 34% as a decimal?
To convert a percentage to a decimal, we divide by 100%:
34% ÷ 100% = 0.34
(you should be able to see that the decimal point has moved two places to the left, and the percentage sign has been removed)
The answer is 0.34.
Decimal to Percentage
What is 0.65 as a percentage?
To convert a decimal to a percentage, we multiply by 100%:
0.65 × 100% = 65%
(you should be able to see that the decimal point has moved two places to the right, and the percentage sign has been added)
The answer is 65%.
Percentage to Fraction
What is 35% as a fraction?
To convert a percentage to a fraction, we write the number as a fraction over 100 and simplify the answer.

Fraction to Percentage

as a percentage? |

To convert a fraction to a percentage, you need to find an equivalent fraction where the bottom
number (denominator) is 100, and then the top number (numerator) will be the percentage. In
this case we need to multiply both parts of the fraction by 4 to make the bottom number 100.
