Reviews for "Dad 'n Me"

I would like to start with my story with flash games and dad 'n me.

When I was a little kid I didn't know about newgrounds, mostly since I am not from an English speaking country, so back then I only went on flash sites that were in my native language. I played dad 'n me on one of them, i can't remember the name, but when my mom saw what I was playing(I was about 5/6 yo) she banned us from playing it. this left me for years remembering the game and not being able to finish it(Could not figure out how to get past those ninjas). fast forward some years, I am 19 years old, an aspiring game developer and I think that all this web games thing is way behind me, but then I hear that flash is being discontinued. I remember dad 'n me and say to myself "It's time to go back and finally finish this game". after finishing the game I start looking for more games that I liked and games that I didn't play, and I started to realize that all these games are still just as great as I thought back then, and maybe even better. I was finally able to finish dad 'n me, but I won't just stop here. i am going to keep enjoying these games here for years to come and use them as inspiration for my own.

This is a great game with excellent artwork, great controls and music that is so different to the rest of the game that it somehow fits perfectly. I am so happy that I was able to experience it twice in different times from different mindsets. great game, a classic, would recommend any day.

Finally, a game that lets me bully children.

really fun game wish it was longer tho

addictive, good stress reliver

this game is so good and im really sad to see that this will be gone in 2 weeks

TomFulp responds:

It won't be! Ruffle is almost ready to run Dad 'n Me, it just has to fix an audio volume issue and one more small visual bug with palette swaps. Ruffle is what we are using to keep running Flash in the browser, without the Flash plugin.
