Last level is insane my hand got tired from clickn

Heh heh; yeah, that last level is challenging, but here is a tip for you: concentrate on the end boss. If you destroy every other enemy but that one, a bunch of new enemies will respawn anyway (forever, even if you clear them all out a thousand times), so take out the boss first then clear out the last of its minions.

I am glad you liked the game and its music and so too may be the musicians who provided the music via the Newgrounds audio portal.

Good humor is the spice of life--or is that fennel seed? Actually, there are a lot of spices of life, but good humor might be the spice of ramen; it is sometimes difficult to keep track of these things.

I kept trying to kill em before they got to far in and kept clicking on another window behind the game >.<

anyway tho nice lil game kinda enertaining might need to retry and see how i can do when I am not juts waking up or trying to be quick and kill em before even they are on screne >.>

Yes, that is unfortunately the danger of playing fast-action mouse-controlled games in a window; I have had the same thing happen to me.

If you like, I could make the game available for download so you could play it full-screen. Scaling is currently disabled to keep the performance reasonable, but at least you would not have to worry about clicking on other windows. I was planning to make scaling an option for local gaming (not via the Web), so I might do so to let you play the game the way you want to play it.

Well, you certainly surprised me

After seeing your tank game demo, this is the last thing I would have expected from you. Reading back through the reviews, some of them are pretty harsh. I guess it's just that good ol' NG mentality - my advice: pinch of salt.

Now, the game. The controls are simple, but I found it quite fun. Maybe you should add a status bar which shows any boost-ups/enemies left/levels left - then again, I quite like the clean look, the fact there's no clutter. The graphics were good, and the music wasn't overpowering (suggestion no2 - volume control/jukebox?). Character animation was nice, AS worked a treat.

I'm guessing that the reason that so many reviewers have called it boring is because there's no way to die/lose - so long as you persist, you can win (although it gets bloody hard). I'd suggest having timer that runs down for each level, and 3 lives. Most NG users would probably like it better if more blood was involved, too... sad, isn't it?

Why was this so surprising after my tank demo? Because a first-cat (har har har) shooter is very different from a tank game?

I have been working on an updated version of Black Cat Ops with various improvements, including difficulty/skill selection, but I want to be clear that I am working on an update right now, not a completely new game with significantly different gameplay. I have considered implementing a timer to emphasize the fact that time is a factor, but I also enjoy the clean interface and I do not want to overcomplicate things in the update (I may, however, revise the gameplay more significantly in a sequel).

It was alright.

It wasn't too bad, for a first completed flash game. So you have tried to make others eh? The adventure/shooting components might of made it funner since the game-play eventually felpt pretty repetitive. The song was kind of cool, and it fit with it.

I have others that are not yet finished. I may yet add more to this one.

As far as the game feeling repetitive, that is surprising since there is something new on every level--either a type of enemy character, the particular mixes of initial enemy characters and their reinforcements, and even a power-up. Also, enemy character movement is largely random, so you cannot count on them appearing or moving in particular patterns. What would have made the game less repetetive for you?
