Frostval 2020: The Great Giftnapping!

Hey there heroes!

As snow falls gently over Falconreach, and a fluffy blanket of white covers all, everything is comfy and well, except... who delivered the colossal pile of presents in the middle of town?

This year, Frostval has come to Falconreach!

It's time to celebrate the Frostval season with a special holiday war! Liberate gifts to receive Defender Medals and wrapped weapons (if you're lucky!). (Also, dont' forget that should you need to, you can turn off weather effects in the Options!)

Click on "Frostval in Falconreach" in the Book of Lore to participate!

A wintery version of Book 3 Falconreach will come later!

Also, some bugfixes!

• Fixed bug where the Give Armor Back option in Popsprocket wasn't working.
• Fixed a bug where DragonLord's DragonEye skill was setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed a bug where Entropy's Foul Slash skill was setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed a bug where Frost Moglin's Twig skill was setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed a bug where Icebound Revenant's Frost Strike skill was setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed a bug where Snugglepanda's ULTIMATE PANDAH!!! skill was setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed a bug where Technomancer's Static Overload Blast skill was setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed a bug where Zardbie's Feast and Munch skills were setting Bonus instead of properly adding it.
• Fixed an incorrect resistance on the necklace "Regolith" (Earth -> Stone).
• Fixed the Ancient Defender Mask I and II having undefined resistance.
• Fixed Wildwood Slash IV giving +4 INT instead of +4 DEX.
• Fixed all variants of the Axe-Blade of Aww (and Half Awf) having a sword icon instead of axe.
• Fixed Depths of Madness I giving +3 STR instead of +3 DEX.
• Fixed Ebony Early Bird Wings and Stygian Harvester Wings having a cape icon instead of wings.
• Fixed Ashendal's Z Blade series having a dagger icon instead of scythe.
• Fixed Toxic Fugu Hiki giving +3 STR instead of +3 DEX.
• Fixed Deadly Torafugu having a staff icon instead of wand.
• Fixed Toxic Torafugu having an incorrect item description.
• Removed Soulweaver CC and DragonLord versions from the Armor Closet.

Reimagined: Bugs and Souls

Hey there, heroes!

The final Reimagined release of the year has arrived! While we don't have a quest for you this time, we've got bug fixes, changes, and new armor customization options!

First, Soulweaver and Chaosweaver have received armor customization options. These incredible customization options include new Soul Claws with their arm options!

• Soulweaver now has the Soulforged customization (created by Dove), available upon completion of the "The First Weaver" storyline.
• Soulweaver also has the Freelancer customization (created by Dracelix), available immediately.
• Soulweaver's Color Custom version is also now available as a customization option.
• Chaosweaver now has the Vaal customization (created by Darkon), which requires the "Vaal's Ego" trinket to unlock.
• Chaosweaver also has the Unravelled customization (created by Darkon), available immediately.

Now for some changes and updates!

• Dragon color customization is now available in the Armor Paint room.
• Armor customization options that require items can now be unlocked even if the item required is in the bank.
• Cryptic's "Steal a Potion" skill has been reworked.
  • The skill now has a 100% chance to steal a potion, however, it can only be used twice per battle.
• X-Tenders have been added to the X-Boost shop.
  • If you purchase an "X-Boost: 1wk" or an "X-Boost: 30d" and would like to upgrade them into an "X-Boost: Unlimited", you can now purchase the corresponding X-Tender item and merge it with your boost to obtain an "X-Boost: Unlimited".
  • NOTE: You cannot use an X-Tender with an expired X-Boost item.
• The Equilibrium Pauldron toggle button in the Arena at the Edge of Time has been changed to a simple unlock display.
• Wrath, Sloth, and Pride unlock details have been made more clear in the Arena at the Edge of Time.
• Color Custom Evolved DragonLord customization's trim will now match your dragon's eye color.
• Also, as a test run, Dragonlord's eye color will now match your dragon's eye color. Let us know what you think!
• Female DoomKnight has had some animation adjustments to prevent shoulder dislocation.

And finally, bug fixes!

• Attempted to fix DragonMage's freezing, sticking, and graphical issues.
  • This has been an incredibly tough bug to pin down, so hopefully the changes made with this release should resolve them.
• Pyromancer's "To Ashes" skill no longer purges Devouring Magefire.
• Archivist's  "Ash's Glory" skill now properly adds 200 Bonus instead of setting it to 200.
• Fixed a bug where going left from the Dragon Challenge Board took you to the incorrect challenge board.
• Fixed some bugs with the Escherion and Staff of Inversion challenges.
  • The Staff of Inversion now properly attacks every 5th turn.
  • The Staff of Inversion now properly applies Vulnerable to Escherion when it is defeated.
  • Escherion now properly checks if the Staff of Inversion is defeated before applying Vulnerable.
• Added some checks to the Xing and Xanx and Vath and Stalagbite fights to reduce the amount of duplicate notifications.
• Fixed a bug where leaving Bk3 Osprey Cove by going to the right would take you to Bk1 Falconreach instead of Bk3.
• Fixed a bug where beginning the Maleurous saga would not start with the quest "The Firmament".
• Fixed a bug where the "Phonebooth" house item was incorrectly giving a locked notification.
• Fixed being able to escape with npc classes in the quest "Bachelor Party".
• Fixed some incorrect notifications with some of ChronoZ's combos.
• Fixed a bug where male Necromancers' summoned skeletons were missing their ribcages.
• Fixed a bug where Metal element items would not have an icon when selling items.
• Fixed a bug where Kathool Adept's "Fear" skill would reduce effects on the player by one turn.
• Fixed a bug where Lojaali Vero wouldn't give you the proper greeting even after you've been accepted by the Vind.

Along with all of these updates and fixes, Dove was able to find time to work on the 2021 Epoch variant!

Book 3: The Royal Resistance: Ambition's Crossroads

Hey there, heroes!

As the Proclamation continues to wreak havoc across the Kingdom of Greenguard, your endeavor to save Lore continues in this week's quest: Ambition's Crossroads!

Last time, you met and saved Prince Eulin of the Lagohm, a delightfully adorable creature who may be able aid you in your attempt to locate and close the rift.

Now, although things seem to have settled down for now, the storm grows ever closer... and the plans of the ambitious unfold.

Also, a couple of changes and bugfixes!

• Soulweaver's "Soul Pierce" skill now correctly adds 50 Bonus to its attack rather than setting it.
• Master Soulweaver's "Soul Pierce" skill now correctly adds 250 Bonus to its attack rather than setting it.
• The Cuddle's pet DoT effect now properly does damage.
• Facebook and Forums links have been removed from the Options screen (Preparing for Launcher transition).

Arena at the Edge of Time: Chaos Lord Duos!

Hey there, heroes!

This month's Arena at the Edge of Time challenges are here! The Chaos Lord board now has two new entries!

The twins, Xing and Xang are here to challenge you. Can you defeat them both to earn the Forced Reflection scythe?

Next, the Chaos DragonLord Vath and his dragon, Stalagbite stand in your way! Conquer them in order to earn the Vath customization option for the DragonLord class!

If you think you have what it takes to face these dangerous duos, head over to the Arena at the Edge of Time to test your skill!

Also this week, December's Dragon Coins special has arrived!

Obtain the Blessing of Kyanos, only available for this month from the Book of Lore! This frosty cape will be sure to make you look cool! Check it out if you're interested!

Reimagined: Haven, Doom, and Sales!

Hey there, heroes!

This month's Reimagined release sees our return to Sulen'Eska, where Kara awaits with an emissary of the Clawkin. The quest "Freedom Fighters" has been rewritten and reworked into "Haven on the Horizon", now accessible from Kara in Sulen'Eska.

Rewards (Dravir helm and Dravir Wings) have also been updated to have level 90 versions as well!

Also this week, DragonSlayer and Doomknight have received new customization options! Head over to the Armor Customization room to check out Hunter DragonSlayer, and Feral and Rocker Doomknight!

Speaking of the Armor Customization room... this year's Black Friday Dragon Coin specials are here for one week only!

Along with the annual 50% off sale for the Storybook Collection, two new house utility items have been added to the shopping catalogue in the Book of Lore!

First, we have the Armor Portal Statue! This grand statue will allow you to travel to the Armor Paint Room and the Armor Customization Room from the comfort of your own home!

Normally 1000 Dragon Coins, it will be on sale this week for only 500 Dragon Coins.

Next, we have the Greenscreen Mirror. This wall item will teleport you to the Greenscreen room for all your screenshot desires!
