A group for Karate Nerds to discuss, connect and share their journey in Karate - regardless of style, rank or experience. 👊
Feel free to introduce yourself and invite likeminded friends to join! 😊
❗ Quick rules of engagement: Have an open mind and a respectful attitude. No sensei / style / organization is the "only true and correct way". No spammy ads or shameless plugs. No off-topic political/religious debates. Only English please.
🌟 The aim of this group is to be a positive source of discovery, connection and experience to elevate our collective consciousness of Karate.
To make this possible, follow the guidelines below:
🔎 Before you post anything, use the search function (located at the top). Many questions have been asked numerous times before. Duplicate posts will be removed.
👍 Before you post anything, ask yourself: "Will this be useful for others?" We understand that your dojo party/sensei/kids/medals/vacation pictures mean a lot to you, but maybe this isn't the right place.
✋️ Avoid posting topics with the purpose of dividing us into separate groups (i.e "kata vs kumite", "sport vs tradition", "style vs style" etc). We're all Karate Nerds on the same path of self-development and personal fulfilment. Everybody's journey matters. Together we're stronger. 🙏
📸 If you post a random photo or video without providing any relevant context to spark a constructive discussion, it will be removed.
😭 If your post was removed, don't post "why was my post removed?". Take a minute to reflect on what went wrong instead. If you're still unsure, ask a moderator or admin.
‼️ Follow these guidelines at all times. Be positive, respectful and classy. Otherwise, sayonara. One strike, you're out. 👋
